Re: Ornholt´s Build

Go with Gray for the center structure, it looks more like carbon fiber 🙂

Re: Johannes Racing Agera RS!

Thanks for the update! :) there are for sure lots of room for improvement! Hos is the balance? mine is a bit tail-heavy, and because the first version had the steering arm attached to the front of the wheel hubs I got the wrong angles of the front wheels when they turn so I think that also reinforc...

Update

Hello! Last week I showed the RC Agera to a colleague, who is an RC expert and has been competing within many different RC classes. Over-all, he was very impressed. The Agera was almost as fast as his professional racing 1/10 scale car (although that one had old tires, while I was riding on rubber g...

Johannes Racing Agera RS!

This is a topic that I have wanted to start for a while. Now it is time. I was planning to show this at 3d-meetup Sweden which got cancelled. So I will show it here instead :) For the last couple of months I have been working on another Agera RS model. Some of you might have seen my static model, wh...

What tyres fits this?
I don't know actually. Since this is a static model I have only used the original stl files for the tires and printed them from PLA. If you are lucky you could find some 1/10 rc tires that fits.

The car is "finished"!

Hi! I am now in the situation that my model has been "finished" for quite a long time. I have had all of the parts ready to assemble :D My problem is that I can always make some parts better, and continue to do so forever  But now I'm finished to the extent that it's time to show you the car. I...

Re: Johannes Agera "RSR"-bygge

New quick update and 2 quick tips for other builders ;) I have printed a new rear hood. This time I will try a product that I have which is XTC3D. It is a 2-part epoxy wich you apply directly to the print with a brush. It is a quick way to get a good finish. You can paint directly on the epoxy but s...

Re: Johannes Agera "RSR"-bygge

I haven't seen that one, and that is actually really nice. Just a pity it's so low resolution, and I wonder what material it's based on if there is no officially released true scale drawings? have someone just eyeballed it as close as they could? :) Would be super cool if I could get something with...

Re: Johannes Agera "RSR"-bygge

Ok, might be an interesting experiment to just print a flat thin plate of 1mm thickness and paint one side to see what happens. :) Anyway, fantastic look on that color! I might need to force myself to build anther one to paint, my first one should probably remain the Josef Prusa signature model. :D...

Re: Johannes Agera "RSR"-bygge

That looks fantastic! Interesting (and of course extremely annoying) with the warping. What paint did you use and was it warped by the time the paint had dryed? usually it is very temperature sensitive so I'm wondering if it got a bit hot during curing of some sort? or maybe it's just that the pain...
