SB-90 1/10 Scale

This is the building forum for the Combat Boat 90. If you are interested in the STL's for this project, they are available to those who help me by contributing 15 Euro. Then you get access to a sub-forum where STL's, instructions and mods are located.

Supersmall update

I'm not sure how the fullscale looks but i made some protection bars of carbonfiber rods
and a little frame that fits inside the square hole of the waterjet intake.

Right now i'm modding my Tronxy X5S-400 printer and awaits 2, 500mm Z-screws that will allow me to print
about 450mm in height.

Also i'm taking out the left and right Z stepper motors to use one in the bottom backside and by using pulley wheels
on the screws to the motor.
This way i dont risk to get the bed uneven even when it's been turned of.

Looking something like this, but i made my own mounts for the Z-screws and Z-motor.

That's so cool, can't wait to see it in the water :)
I have the same motor and esc setup but my intention was to use it for a NQD Tear Into boat, well, like in Jaws, I'll need a bigger boat, is sank with the motor in it

Thanks :D

I decided to mount a 12v bilge if theres an accident and the boat takes in water it manages to pump 9L/minute.
This one will be controlled by a levelswitch with a floatation device seen to the right.

Next step was to make a mount for it.
I'm thinking of to put some foam in the front area so if the boat takes in water the aft should go down first
and there is the place i put the bilge at and the levelswitch too.

Heres how its locked in place with a lid and 4 nylonscrews.
Now i will figure out a good spot to mount the levelsensor, the battery box and last frame at the front area
will also be mounted

Wooohooo my SB-90 H is done and she had the maiden today and it worked out perfect.

Half throttle is enough to make it look scalelike when running her.

I'm visiting the 3D-Meetup at 27/4 in Helsingborg coming Saturday so i had been very busy to get her done.

Are you up for a race Olle? :D
Just joking :)

Pics and video will come after the Meetup.
Looking forward to go there ;)
